Water is generally used as a binder, at least to establish a base for gauging effect of other binding agents. The drop-down list below outlines the binders we have available:
If you require a binder other than what is listed, we ask that you provide it with your material sample along with an MSDS.
Terms & Conditions
  1. Mars Mineral must be notified prior to any shipment of material, by fax or letter.
  2. We require a completed Agglomeration Questionnaire and a Purchase Order to begin any test program. Please attach or enclose copies of each along with a MSDS with the material sample.
  3. All shipments must be made prepaid, any collect shipments will be refused unless prior authorization from Mars Mineral has been attained. All returning shipments will be prepaid and added to your invoice.
  4. All materials received by Mars Mineral for testing will be returned. This includes unused and waste material.
  5. Material sent to Mars Mineral should be sent in 5-gallon buckets for small samples. Larger samples will be accepted in drums (not to exceed 500 lbs.) or bulk bags with bottom spout (not to exceed 2,000 lbs.). Packaging other than this needs to be cleared with Mars Mineral prior to shipment.
  6. Hazardous materials must be preceded by a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) at least two days in advance of shipment. Authorization from Mars Mineral must be obtained prior to shipment or Mars Mineral will not accept shipment. Failure of the customer to properly notify Mars Mineral about the properties of the materials will indemnify and hold Mars Mineral harmless from and against any and all claims, suits or other liability whatsoever arising from or connected with any such injury, death or damage.
